Well, sorry if I sound like a troll, but I have a feeling: in case this happens and at least one person that is alive right now attains this state, the oldest among them(those who are currently living and will attain this practical immortality) might still be in kindergarten as of 2025, and most of them are still toddlers or infants as of now, and only a very small portion of them(say, those who can reach 100-110 years old without radical life extension) will see that day coming.
In other words, all of us who are using Manifold as of 28th September 2025 might just be mortals constrained by the conventional pace of aging and will likely die before 100 at the end of the day. Maes–Garreau law tells us that people who expect immortality or its equivalents will happen before they die will very likely to miss it miserably at the end.
