The only situation I can think of where I'd consider resolving N/A would be if I'm somehow unable to determine the resolution, maybe because it's close enough that I can't eyeball it and the API stops working and won't provide the data. But even then I'd rather wait a few weeks for the issue to be fixed and then resolve it once I had access to the answer.
