Apparently, Grimes and Aella are friends so that makes this a possibility.

@shankypanky There’s not, but it means she is publicly aware of the event’s existence and recommends going in person so I think that ups the chance relative to her saying nothing about it.
@Joshua a wise whale once told me not to panic sell! though I was just reading the event description again and it sounds like it's going to be pretty interactive so it wouldn't be out of the question for her to be there and involved as a non-candidate?
@JamesG sure, I read it as a friend supporting a friend, and there are still 60+ tickets available so it may be a good boost to sales. but I'm staying modest.
@shankypanky Ok I've regained my sanity, if Manifold could get Grimes to be part of the event they'd be advertising that and charging five times as much
