This market resolves YES if Emmanuel Macron officially resigns from his position as President of the French Republic before December 31, 2025 at 11:59 PM (Paris time).

Resolution criteria for YES:

  • Official resignation announcement by Emmanuel Macron

  • Effective transfer of powers to the President of the Senate (constitutional interim)

  • Confirmation by at least 2 major sources (Le Monde, AFP, Reuters, BBC, France24)

Resolution criteria for NO:

  • Macron remains in office on January 1, 2026

  • Impeachment/removal (does NOT count as resignation)

  • Temporary or medical incapacity without formal resignation

  • Rumors or calls for resignation without actual resignation
