Resolution criteria for YES:
Official resignation announcement by Emmanuel Macron
Effective transfer of powers to the President of the Senate (constitutional interim)
Confirmation by at least 2 major sources (Le Monde, AFP, Reuters, BBC, France24)
Resolution criteria for NO:
Macron remains in office on January 1, 2026
Impeachment/removal (does NOT count as resignation)
Temporary or medical incapacity without formal resignation
Rumors or calls for resignation without actual resignation
