In order to qualify for this market, the stream must:
Be about an exciting market where lots of people are trading very quickly while the commentary is going on.
Last at least 10 minutes.
Have a commentator who is entertaining and knows enough about Manifold to provide useful commentary on what's going on and the strategies people may be using.
Be well-advertised in advance, and get at least 10 viewers throughout the course of the stream, ignoring any alt accounts or people only there because they were paid to be so.
One of the self-referential gamble markets seems most likely to be successful, becuase the bets themselves are what provides most of the information. For something like an election market, the information comes from vote counts, and the market itself is not the source of the excitement; people would rather just watch the vote counting.
@DesTiny i found out today that manifold has a twitch bot integrated into their labs section now, did you know?
@firstuserhere yeah I saw that, it fucked up the list of everything so it's all scooched over. I'm sure how it works though
Let it be this market https://manifold.markets/DesTiny/how-do-you-cut-sandwiches?r=Zmlyc3R1c2VyaGVyZQ
@BTE That's fine, as long as they make a real effort I don't care if someone's paying them to do so.
@DesTiny Well now I am definitely doing it. I think I am gonna need a co-host (wink:suggestion). And we should try to get Manifold to endorse it as the "Official Manifold Podcast".
@IsaacKing Authority on the stuff you mentioned in a separate comment about the nuanced market math.
@BTE I guess I could do that, but I don't have nearly as good an understanding of market math as @Gurkenglas or some others do.
@IsaacKing Don't you have the second most markets created? Really you and I should co-host because of the volume of content we have created. Lets invite @Gigacasting as our first guest trader!! LOL!
@BTE I think I'm first in total markets actually? Not sure since there's no leaderboard for that. (Also a bunch of mine are test markets that resolved N/A right after creation, which shouldn't really count.)
@BTE just do this already, guys. I'm sure @Gurkenglas is more vector oriented than this-market oriented xD
