Resolves the next time there's an election or the permanent leader changes for any reason. If the leader changes without an election, resolves to 1 (ie a trivial election with Starmer's successor being considered "the sole candidate"). Otherwise, resolves to the number of candidates on the ballot sent to Labour members. Starmer himself obviously counts, if he stands rather than resigning straight away.

But if there's some drama that looks like the start of a contest, and at the end of it Starmer is still the leader and a ballot hasn't gone to members, that doesn't resolve 1. Market stays open in that case. I'll only allow a "trivial election" with 1 candidate if that candidate is not Starmer.

If the rules change in such a way that this market doesn't make sense anymore, it will resolve NA. But if they change in such a way that the interpretation changes but the market still makes sense, we go on. I'll use my judgement for this, so won't bet.
