If it's only available for a weekend, then gone again, that still counts. Even for just one evening.
If the autonomy is ambiguous, that still counts. This question is much more lenient than some of those Austin Tesla questions.
If the cars are COMPLETELY human-driven at first (unlikely), with humans in the drivers seats & operating the steering wheels, that won't count.
But if any % of normal users are given a ride where the car appears to be steering itself, that WILL count.
Even if a Waymo employee is in the driver's seat, so long as the steering is sometimes robotic, that will count.
Perhaps only some people will be able to ride at first. Only returning Waymo customers, say. This question will resolve when >= 10,000 people who are not Waymo or Alphabet staff are given access to hail cars in SD.
