This market tracks the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics April 2026 CPI release. RESOLVES YES if the first BLS April 2026 CPI news release/table reports that CPI-U all items less food and energy increased by 0.3% or more from March 2026 to April 2026 on a seasonally adjusted basis. RESOLVES NO if that seasonally adjusted month-over-month percent change is below 0.3%. Use the BLS-reported rounded percent change in the April 2026 CPI release. If BLS publishes a same-day correction before this market is resolved, use the corrected first-release value. Ignore later revisions after resolution. Primary source: BLS CPI news release and tables for April 2026. The BLS release schedule lists April 2026 CPI for May 12, 2026 at 8:30 a.m. ET; this market is set to close shortly before that release. A live duplicate search found only a broad April headline CPI market, not this core CPI MoM threshold. Pre-creation forecast check: Kiplinger/Wall Street roundup described core CPI as forecast to rise 0.3% month over month.
