@Reiji I was planning to use reviews/critic ratings to determine the answer to the question.
I appreciate that it seems not the crew behind the live action seem to be genuinely passionate about One Piece and the project and the whole. I also appreciate that they are giving Oda lot's of creative freedom and quality control. However, I think it is inevitable that the Live Action will simply not be good due to the medium not working well with the story of One Piece. One Piece is a story that will just not translate very well to live-action. Also, Netflix does have a history of botching anime live-actions. I bet no.
