The default position on markets is to close them at around the time the resolution is expected. I see no reason to tie up everyone's mana here for 10 months, reopening and changing closing date to 20 October 2024.

@Eliza Resoltion will occur either when an election is (or is not called) prior to the “officially expected” date. How else could such a market predict?
