This needs a clearer explanation. Clearly AIs can predict some future events now. Is the question that they’ll be able to predict all future events? All future events that are theoretically possible to predict? Where’s the line here?

Under your non-existent resolution criteria, if I went to ChatGPT and asked "Will someone on earth die today" I'm pretty sure it would say yes, and that would qualify as an accurate prediction of a future event.
