Tesla CEO Elon Musk has announced that Tesla will launch unsupervised Full Self-Driving (FSD) as a paid robotaxi service in Austin, Texas by June 2025. This would be Tesla's first deployment of completely driverless vehicles on public roads without human oversight.
Resolution Criteria: This market resolves YES if Tesla launches a paid, unsupervised (no safety driver) autonomous ride-hailing service in Austin, Texas by July 31, 2025. The service must be available to the general public (not just employees) and operate without human drivers in the vehicles. Resolves NO if this does not occur by the deadline.
