Resolve YES if, by 11:59 PM CDT on August 31, 2026, at least one passenger who is not a Tesla employee completes a ride on public roads in Austin, Texas, in Tesla's purpose built Cybercab as part of Tesla's Robotaxi ride hailing service.
For YES, the vehicle must be the purpose built two seat Cybercab without a steering wheel or pedals, and the ride must operate without a Tesla safety driver or safety monitor inside the vehicle.
Rides limited to Tesla employees, testing on private roads, demonstrations, or rides involving media representatives or influencers that are arranged solely for promotional or testing purposes do not count. Cybercab test vehicles operating without carrying a qualifying passenger also do not count.
A ride by an invited member of the public may count if it is a genuine passenger ride provided through Tesla's Robotaxi service rather than a closed demonstration or test.
If these conditions are not met by the deadline, resolve NO.
Reliable evidence may include an official Tesla announcement, reporting from reputable news organizations, or other credible documentation sufficient to establish that the qualifying ride occurred before the deadline.
