@SunilOcara will have to make a judgement call but most likely yes since they played in 2027 already (i assume)
@ethanFeldman6c30 league since that is the only thing i can think of measuring (id if they are in the MLB, they are still in the MLB)
@ethanFeldman6c30 i'd use the equivalent, do you have an example? i am not too familiar outside the USA
@strutheo Most good soccer players play in a league for a country and then a playoff league eg haaland plays in the premier league and the champions league. Most country’s have multiple levels of leagues. If haaland moved to swedens league Sweden is less competitive so he would be competing at what is considered a lower level but he would probably still make champions league. Alternatively he could still be competing in the premier league but his team could be less successful and he not make champions league so he would compete in a lower level playoff.
@ethanFeldman6c30 hm that is tough. i might have to add 'by my judgement' or a similar clause. the main spirit of the question is just that they are still competing in some capacity in a real professional league
@ethanFeldman6c30 if they transfer through these leagues regularly i'd probably count them as similar enough
@strutheo i know this is 9 months later but im just finding this market now. my recommendation for these famous players in europe (Haaland for example who i've added). is to consider if theyre still playing in one of the 'european top 5'. that is: premier league, la liga, bundesliga, serie a, ligue 1. generally speaking these leagues are considered to be a step above the rest in quality (although by no means equal to each other).
