The EAG DC venue has a policy against leaving bags unattended for security reasons. However, this seems unlikely to be followed (extrapolating from previous EA conferences) and difficult to enforce.
This question resolve to YES if the conference if the conference organizers, venue security, or conference-related staff (e.g. contractors) announce a conference activity interruption due to venue security concerns around unattended bags. So how likely is it that attendees will follow the policy and/or that the venue security will become sufficiently aggrieved as to cause conference disruption?
This question resolves to NO if no interruptions are specifically attributed to venue security concerns due to unattended bags.
