fall in love

hey, hi, it's been a while!

it's nearly a year since my original NYC Bingo and I still really love travel bingo markets. I've just decided to head over to Ireland next week, so help me have a good time? (coincidentally today - 9 Nov - is my one year Manifoldiversary, too 🧁)

this is a free response market - add suggestions of things I should do/see, or things you think I may encounter in my two weeks there. want me to add it for you? feel free to tag me in a comment instead.

Relevant bits:

  • arriving 16/11 and departing 4/12 - I'll extend this market if I extend my trip

  • I'm renting a car when I land in Dublin and driving straight down to Cork (not sure how long I'll stay there, or if I'll go directly back to Dublin or wander a bit on my way back up)

  • in Dublin, I have friends who have invited me to stay for as long as I like

  • I'm single, traveling solo

  • I'll have a car the whole time

  • I'm a semi-recently-repatriated American citizen and I've been a lot of places, but this is my first time in Ireland

  • I don't drink much but going to bars and talking to strangers is one of my greatest joys, so any recs on bars or bets for conversations to have with someone new (at a bar or anywhere) are welcome

  • I don't eat a lot of meat but recs for local food that I should try will all be considered!

  • I love the arts so any recs for cinema, theatre, galleries, museums, writer/author talks, etc. are great

  • I'm not much of a "top things to do in..." type, and keen for some irreverent suggestions

    • feel free to add things that can happen without my intention/intervention like "see a marriage proposal" or "be insulted by a well-dressed woman"

  • I'll take photos for posterity when relevant

I'd like to resolve lots of Yes answers! I'll bet on this market in the direction I think is most likely and won't change my bet at a late stage. I will adjust bets as time goes on, though, to reflect what seems realistic.

I'll resolve n/a at my discretion but count on it for junk or spam answers including really easy Yeses (yes, I plan to wake up each day) or really easy Nos (no, I won't swim to France) or absurd/impossible ones (no, I'm not going to flash the President). just play nice and add real things, okay? 🧑
