By "land meat", I mean beef, pork, chicken, etc. "Exotic" meats (snake, alligator, buffalo, etc) all count as well. Contrary to my vague knowledge of Catholicism, beavers would count as land meat for this market.

I am pescatarian, but am concerned primarily about resource usage; I have no fundamental moral objection to eating meat from a source that does not cause undue suffering to their animals. I have enough resource-usage concern and uncertainty about traceability of "good" meat, so I try to be fully pesc.

I openly make exceptions for "extraordinarily good" meat, but have not had to do so in quite some time: the last time I knowingly ate any land meat was January 2023 on a ski trip, when I was ravenous and the only food available was a frozen beef burrito (extraordinarily good only by virtue of my extraordinary hunger); before that, it was the previous November, where I had a duck confit on my birthday. Which ended up not really being worth it, unfortunately.

If someone came to visit me and specifically wanted to go get barbecue or something, whether or not I got meat would depend on where they wanted to go and the quality of veg/pesc options there. I have no current plans to do this before 2023-08-01, but I also have no concrete plans to not do something like that.

If I was at a restaurant or had cooked and there was a leftover meat dish that someone else had already purchased and was going to be thrown away, my threshold for delicious would be lower. I made burgers last week and this happened; I did not finish the meat burger but I did consider it.

If I unknowingly eat meat (e.g. a restaurant accidentally puts some beef in my meal), or get some meat residue on some of my food (I don't wipe off my spatula between flipping my guest's beef burger and flipping my veggie burger), those would not resolve this market.

If I consciously decide to eat meat (even a single bite), this market will resolve YES. Otherwise, this market will resolve NO on 2023-08-01.
