Resolves to the maximum number of unique user badges that exist at any given time between now and March 2024.
“Bot” badge counts, but the “new user” and “market creator” ones won't.
Current tally:
Mod (shield with check)
Staff (crane)
MVP (heart)
Partner (crown)
Bot (bot)
Verified (check)
Interesting points raised by @Eliza. I know it doesn’t imply this in the current description, but my intent was to refer to long-term badges essential to the user, not context-dependent ones. That’s why I’d think that the “Bot” badge should count, but the “new user” and “market creator” ones shouldn’t. Does anyone have any objections to me adding this to the description?
For context, I believe there are currently three:
"Trusthworthy-ish"/"Moderator" (for example, me)
"Verified" (for example, @ScottAlexander)
"I work on Manifold!" (for example, @JamesGrugett)
@Gabrielle I think there might be currently either four or five? Do the scales of justice for question creator count?
@Eliza I wasn’t aware of the MVP badge, so that’s a fourth. I don’t know if the market counts the scales of justice, but I wouldn’t if I were the market creator.
This might also count as a badge.
It appears in all the same places other badges do, I think it might very well count.
