The Boom Overture is marketed as "The world’s fastest airliner". There are 130 "orders and pre-orders" at the time of this writing.
The "planned introduction", whatever that means, is in 2029.
For a Yes I will accept test flights. But they must be with an aircraft that more or less looks like the 3D concept art they have at the moment: Delta wing, large enough for at least 60 passengers, top speed above Mach 1.
The supersonic part is a notable requirement for this to resolve Yes. Preferably verified by non-Boom sources but I may be persuaded.

Update 2025-02-18 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): If the project changes ownership or is rebranded but the core team or project continuity remains, it will still count as Boom Overture.
A change in the name (e.g., to something like "Airbus A900") does not affect the resolution if the same team carries on the work.
The project must continue under the same technical and developmental guidance for the purposes of this market.
@pds Good question. I think I would have to wait a bit to see if someone buys the remains and keeps the project going. If it's mostly the same people doing it just different owners I'm willing to say it is still Boom Overture for the purposes of this question, even if they may change the name to something like "Airbus A900" or whatever.
