Resolves the same as the original on Metaculus.
Resolution criteria
Dominic Cummings is a British political strategist most known for his role as Chief Advisor to Boris Johnson from 24 July 2019 until 13 November 2020, and for directing the Vote Leave campaign before then.
Recently, his substack contains the phrase: "If we’re going to do politics/government much better, we must carefully study some examples."
This question doesn't concern itself whether Dominic Cummings is going to do politics/government "much better", but solely with whether he is "going to do government" again.
"Being in power" is a fairly fuzzy concept, but for the purposes of this question, it is taken to mean:
Being employed at least three days a week by any one of: a UK political party, the UK Civil Service, a UK politician, or
holding political office in the UK, the EU, or any organization of the UN system
Will Dominic Cummings return to a position of direct political power in the UK before 2050?
