At time of posting, the United Kingdom is defined as:
The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, commonly known as the United Kingdom (UK) or Britain,[k] is a country in Northwestern Europe, off the north-western coast of the continental mainland.[13][14] It comprises England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.[15] It includes the island of Great Britain, the north-eastern part of the island of Ireland, and most of the smaller islands within the British Isles.[16] Northern Ireland shares a land border with the Republic of Ireland; otherwise, the United Kingdom is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, the North Sea, the English Channel, the Celtic Sea, and the Irish Sea.
In the 2020s, will the United Kingdom lose any land?
This question is not talking about sea-level rise, or other climate related land erasure. This question will resolve based on any portion of the UK (at time of posting) leaving, or being conquered / annexed by another country.
I am including all 14 overseas territories as well.
We'll see if this actually results in an actual territorial change in time, but, I suspect it will. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c98ynejg4l5o
