Will 2024 have the widest gender gap since 1980, when tracking began? I will be using Wikipedia as the source, who pull from CAMP (The Center for American Women and Politics).

The current record is 12points, set in the 2020 election (see full log below or in the above link). The gap must be larger than 12pts for a YES Resolution, if it’s exactly 12 this will Resolve NO.

Past elections:

  • 2020: 12pts

  • 2016: 11pts

  • 2012: 10pts

  • 2008: 8pts

  • 2004: 7pts

  • 2000: 10pts

  • 1996: 11pts

  • 1992: 4pts

  • 1988: 7pts

  • 1984: 6pts

  • 1980: 8pts
