There are some different understandings of what the word "date" means. Some people think it is strictly romantic, while others thinks it can be either romantic or social. There might even be other theories. The question of this market is whether a "date" necessarily has to be romantic.

Resolves to my % of being convinced of YES.

Just for the record, there was nothing fishy business going on in this market despite TheWiggleMan (admitted to being a paid troll) spamming a bunch of outraged stuff, and ShadowZephyr (stupid person that always dishonestly tries frame everything I do as bad) doing the same. See for example

and

I merely made this market quickly, partially as a joke, and never meant for it to be a serious market, I only wanted to post some evidence and resolve in my favor after 30 minutes like what Jack did on his market about me being guilty of collusion. And I think nobody else took the market serious either except the paid troll and the guy that always unreasonably objects.

Honestly just think about it, what was my goal with this market, I earned basically no mana so it was obviously not that.

@levifinkelstein

resolve in my favor after 30 minutes like what Jack did on his market

More pathological lying. @jack‘s market was open for a week and that was the close time right from the very beginning. A week is 336x longer than “half an hour” so not quite “like what Jack did”. He transparently stated in the description and in comments how he would resolve, and even added the tag [Yes] to the title days before it closed and resolved. The description here instead makes it seem you might be open to seeing some discussion and explicitly implies you may not have been 100% convinced for No. Most importantly, the original close date here would have the market open for a month, another indication that you were encouraging some discussion. Then, as soon as one trader bet against you, you closed and resolved it early without notice or warning. Jack waited for the week to elapse and only resolved after it closed as originally programmed. What you did and intended in this “joke” market is 180 degrees from what Jack did and intended with his.

@deagol I wasn't referring to the time, but that the market wasn't meant to do anything other than make a statement or whatever.

@DavidChee This is the edit history of wigglemans comment. Just so you know someone has been spam reporting and this guy causing drama om purpose.

@DavidChee this market was misresolved fraudulently. Please re-open it.

predictedNO 1y

@TheWiggleMan it wasn't, you just misunderstood.

predictedNO 1y

@TheWiggleMan bro you lost 30 mana calm down haha

predictedYES 1y

@levifinkelstein It is NOT about the amount of MANA

predictedYES 1y

@levifinkelstein It was fraudulently resolved.

predictedYES 1y

@levifinkelstein it is your job to clarify what you're asking. You resolved without giving ANY TIME WHATSOEVER TO PRESENT ANY EVIDENCE OR TO CONVINCE YOU TO CHANGE YOUR MIND!

predictedYES 1y

@levifinkelstein will you give me 100 mana ???

1y

you just did the equivalent of sending money to a "DOUBLE YOUR MONEY SEND ME $1000 I SEND $2000 (VERIFIED NOT SCAM I PROMISE HEHE)" and are now raging that it was a scam, i don't think anyone including you was actually confused here

predictedYES 1y

@jacksonpolack Yes but it was a scam.

predictedYES 1y

@TheWiggleMan Idc about mana i lost, i love losing it :) but i dont like scams

1y

@jacksonpolack The fact that Levi liked this comment seems to be him admitting it’s a scam which is hilarious

predictedNO 1y

@ShadowyZephyr "The fact that Levi liked this comment seems to be him admitting it’s a scam" That's not what clicking the like button means. 😂

@levifinkelstein Then.. what does it mean? You're liking a comment saying it was an obvious scam. Whether TheWiggleMan should have fallen for it or not is irrelevant to that, you approving of that comment implies that you think this market is actually akin to the scam described

Edit: I have seen people use the like button as "I disagree with your argument but I'm glad you took the time to craft a well-thought out response" but never "This is so wrong it's hilarious." If that's what you meant you could have clarified it. You liking a comment saying your market is a scam, and then defending that, is weird

predictedNO 1y

@ShadowyZephyr "you approving of that comment" clicking the like button is not approving of the comment.

"Then.. what does it mean?" Could mean many things, for example finding a comment funny.
