Microsoft has been pushing Bedrock edition toward superceding Minecraft Java edition slowly over the last few years. This trend is troubling for modders and people running servers at home.
This resolves positively when the standard Minecraft launcher on PC stops offering new Java edition updates, while continuing to release updates to other versions.
This resolves no in 2025 otherwise.
This could resolve N.A. if minecraft is no longer being developed at all.
