SDG 2.1 is the aim to decrease the global prevalence of malnurishment under 2.5 %. Currently the global malnurishment is about 9.9 % (2020) and is estimated by the OCED-FAO to decrese to 7.7 % by 2030 if current trends continue. The original goal of 2030 can only be achieved by approximetly dubbling the expected growth in productivity of the agricultural sector. Without policies and significant finacial support the required productivity growth is a 24 % increas in crop yield and 31 % growth in animal productivity.
Market resolves YES if any reputable source rapports that SDG 2.1 has been achieved by the end of 2035. NO if that doesn't happen.
