Base Rules:
Each user can leave one comment asking me to add or remove one word (and edit adjacent punctuation if desired) after the Base Rules. Uncommon hyphenated "words" do not count as a single word. If the update affects the beginning of the sentence I will capitalize accordingly.
I may reject a proposed edit that makes me uncomfortable for any reason, in particular if it would cause this market to violate Manifold's terms of service.
The market cannot resolve unless the non-base rules are all grammatically correct and sufficiently clear. (Clarification: you CAN make edits that introduce grammar errors however; someone else will just have to fix them.)
Infeasible resolution criteria, such as a resolution time in the past, will be ignored.
I will not bet on this market.
The Base Rules supersede all other rules.
This market resolves on the final ides of March this year (UTC time) if >
@traders Since this has died down and loans are going away, would you like me to N/A this so you get your investment back?
Testing whether I can see the edit history of an edited comment.
@gregrosent Ok, in that case:
"If this market resolves on the final ides of March this year (UTC time)" -> "This market resolves on the final ides of March this year (UTC time)"
Sorry @nollfem
Delete "moment"
So each change must create a valid sentence?
@Joshua Changes that create invalid sentences are allowed, but I'll ignore invalid sentences when parsing the rules.
@gregrosent What if I turn a valid sentence into one valid sentence and one invalid sentence? I can add punctuation, right?
@Joshua Specifically, can I end the game by proposing
"This market resolves YES, now. on the final moment of March this year (UTC time)"
