Resolved
YES

AI generated voice from text, voice to voice transformation etc are allowed.

Must explicitly state that the voice is AI generated or that the narrator's voice was recasted using a tool specifically using ML primarily.

For more clarification about what counts for resolution, feel free to ask questions!

The narration must be >4 mins long for it to be counted as a legitimate attempt, for this market.

Leaving market open for a few hrs in case there are any objections to a YES resolution

predicted YES

given the comment on WvM has many likes and people are buying YES, I think you can resolve

Today in between my breaks, I hacked together this quick narration based on Conflux's summary of the Whales vs Minnows market, with ChatGPT, midjourney, and voice cloning adding to the creativity.

It's quite rough, but it's an hour's work (and my first attempt ever at something like this).

@firstuserhere Seems good enough to me

anyone object to a YES resolution? Or would like to pick up the remaining 200M in liquidity?

Are basic TTS systems AI? What level of intelligence is required? Siri voice? Uberduck?

How about the quality? Some uberduck voices mumble words or make entire sentences incomprehensible.

predicted YES

@TobyBusickWarner no, not basic TTS systems. It's quite easy to tell it's a generated voice. Something that mimics human voice quite well is what's required here for a good narration. Siri voice is also quite bad and won't count. Not familiar with uberduck

predicted YES

@TobyBusickWarner Okay, well, thinking more about this. Some TTS is pretty good, and if it sounds very human like, I'm inclined to say it counts

is there a !remindme bot on manifold?

predicted YES

I mean you get a notification when he replies, which is probably soon since he’s a pretty active user.

predicted YES

i want to get a notification on, like, may 28th so I can make the narration if nobody else has by then so i don't lose my money

predicted YES

oh I don’t think so then. I bet many people would do that so maybe we can just coordinate if it comes to it.

predicted YES

@jacksonpolack yeah sure. It's weird, i was just modifying some code based on tortoise TTS just yesterday.

Also, if someone has a windows machine (since macos has a 20 second limit and no app, but you can go try still!), Koe.ai/recast is a pretty good option also! I have used their "Marcus" voice for several narrations in the past

predicted YES

@jacksonpolack yeah i wish there was a remind me bot like on reddit. Definitely useful for markets like this
