Resolved
NO

This market asks the question of whether Altman will be a board member of the 501(c)(3) OpenAI which controls the for-profit company knows as OpenAI.

If Sam Altman has not joined OpenAI a year from now, the market will resolve N/A.

If he joins OpenAI as the CEO, for a YES resolution, he must be given the seat at the board within a week of joining.

Do both things need to happen at the same time?

@Soli Good question. For this market, he must be given a seat at the board within a week of his joining. For speculation over when he gets the seat and when he rejoins, @TheBayesian's market in the comment below is better

bought Ṁ250 of NO

@firstuserhere I sold my yes position and bought no :) - thank you for clarifying

@firstuserhere when are you planning on resolving this market? He was not given a seat on the board: https://openai.com/blog/sam-altman-returns-as-ceo-openai-has-a-new-initial-board

predicted NO

@Soli waiting for a week to be over

@SavioMak Thank you, fixed

This is the structure - the board of directors is what controls the non-profit. Would Sam be on it if he rejoins?
