This is a followup to /firstuserhere/experimental-firstuserheres-guessin

Here's how this works:

  • Anyone can submit a free response option in the form of a guess that they have about @firstuserhere . It can be about anything - guesses about my music taste, my research interests, my sleep habits, etc.

  • Try to guess something that's not already known about me.

  • I can resolve options N/A if I don't want to answer them.

  • Otherwise, I'll resolve to YES if the guess was right, NO if the guess was wrong, and PROB if it was partly right and partly wrong.

  • Between the option being submitted and me actually seeing and resolving it, you (and other traders) can spend mana to try to make a profit. If you're confident in a guess, buy YES - if you think someone has it wrong, buy NO. For obvious reasons, I won't bet on the options before resolving then. I'll check once per day(after loans refresh) so there's time to bet on the options.

  • This continues indefinitely, because the market doesn't close when I resolve an individual option.

Were creating a bank easier, you would create one

I dont think i'd enjoy it and if i don't enjoy it, i don't think i'd pursue it

You've worked with LED strip lights

Absolutely. sophomore year and onwards in college. Wrote my own controller so i could wouldnt have to move my hands from my laptop to the remote.

You have a "smart house" system

The most I have is an echo dot. But that is mostly used for creating reminders or playing songs. I dont use it to control any lights or anything. I do have 7 different lights in my bedroom, and I enjoy varying degrees of lightning at different emotional or mental states I am or want to get into, to say nothing about photography.

You follow Manifold users to get notifications on their new markets

This reminds me to notify a bug - I've never had any notification in this tab. Either this is some setting thing, or no one I follow ever creates any markets, or there's some bug.

To answer the question - I follow people I enjoy reading the content of, or think are on the platform to learn and grow not merely argue and win, or create markets I enjoy highly, or is someone I've worked with and or have a personal relationship with. Not sure how to resolve this option now.

bought Ṁ5 of You follow Manifold ... NO

@firstuserhere I've created two new markets today so you could've received notifications! Have you checked "Settings" tab though?

@AnT You're right, it was me

bought Ṁ5 of You follow Manifold ... NO

Though if you don't receive notifications that means that you follow users for other reasons - looks like NO!

@firstuserhere So , I will resolve this option to NO, now becuase markets are a part of what I find a reason to follow someone, but its just one of many reasons, and hardly ever the main reason.

I just follow people very rarely, and only after I feel like interactions with them are probably going to be good faith and I can learn something from them.

You've held a snake in your hands David attenborough style

This is what I mean by David attenborough style

@firstuserhere that thumbnail makes me want to jumprope with a snake
