In 2023, the EU enacted the EU Regulation on Deforestation-Free Supply Chains. The EUDR is set to come into effect on 30 December 2024 for large scale producers and 30 June for micro/small producers. This regulation pertains to commodities including cocoa, coffee, palm oil, rubber, soy, and wood.
