I got a sore throat Monday afternoon and woke up Tuesday morning with swollen tonsils with white spots. (It is now Thursday morning). It hurts to swallow and I have had intermittent fevers (mostly at night, although might just be that's when the paracetamol wears off) and generally felt tired and achey all over.

Getting a swab at the doctors later today to check if the infection is bacterial so I can be prescribed antibiotics if so.

Resolves once I have the results from my test.
