i got my permit in february and ive barely practiced at all since then because i never have time... but my permit expires next february and i don't wanna have to start all over again, so i'm making this market to hopefully help motivate me.
i feel like everyone's immediate response when they hear i have a permit is to go either "really? you?" or "oh no ill keep off the roads" or "please try not to kill anyone". soo make of that what you will.
(i have not yet hit anyone or anything. i dont know why everyone is so judgy >:( i feel like im a fine driver, especially for the amount of practice ive had.)

@alleycat I think it's been five weekends. How many of them did you drive at least 2h on so far?
(and in the unlikely event it's zero, I think this could resolve already)
@chrisjbillington out of the 5 weekends, I drove for 4 of them (not last weekend since my mom was on a trip). However, I only actually drove two hours for 3 of them (I didn't really realize how much of a timesink it is, especially since I'm not allowed to drive in the city yet so there's extra commute time for leaving/entering the city).
So currently, I'm at 3/5 weekends, with 11 more to go.
I'm going to drive tomorrow, and I plan to go next weekend as well, but I'll be out of town the weekend after that - that will be my 3rd missed weekend out of 4. However, I should have a significantly more stable weekend schedule after that, so I think I still have a pretty good shot at making it.
@JohnSmithb9be Yeah sorry, I know how serious driving is. I was mostly joking in the description but I definitely try to be serious and careful when I drive :)
@alleycat No need to apologize! I was aiming for silliness mixed with an actual point about other drivers being a major issue even if you do everything right.
