I'm not sure how I'd vote here. One one hand, it's some good ol' fashioned muckraking. On the other hand, it could be used to bolster his social capital in our digital age, and therefore bolster his political capital.

It seems in poor taste to host a comedic event featuring him given what's happening right now on the national stage.

@Yoae The problem is, I feel like they've figured out the art of political Aikido. They have figured out how to invert the political perception of doing taboo'd acts, so criticism might just be turned into a boogeyman they can go after.

Most celebrity roasts I've seen are pretty piddling but there are some good roasters they could bring in. Anthony Jesselnik is very funny. I bet Trump could get some good roasts off on Musk too, he used to be involved in TV.
