Should the “will this market get X traders” type of questions be banned?
Yes
No

I honestly think that these markets are obviously a way for their creators to get a quick buck without putting much thought into it. What do you think?

Agree with others, banning feels too far, but need to at least be able to filter them out

Additionally, not sure how easy/reliable/worthwhile the implementation would be, but I think it'd be good to reduce the unique trader bonuses the market creator gets for them

Same goes for basic coinflip markets imo

I don't like the idea of banning them, but I wish there was some way of heavily discouraging them

I think there should at least be labeling, so people who don't like it can by default filter out these questions. Same for subjective or personal questions.

@ErwinRossen arguably there are already tags for self-resolving and personal, but yeah I don't know of a way to view all markets except a set of specific tags

Banning things just because they are boring is extreme.

It might be boring for you, but a new experience for new users - they cannot participate in old self-referential closed markets, so they create new.

I think it's ok if some level of creativity goes into making it different than the rest, but yeah when it's just a plain one it's boring af
