This market resolves to the total number of confirmed deaths attributed to the 2026 Iran war (military + civilian across all involved countries) as of 31 March 2026.

Resolution criteria:

• The number will be determined using the median of the figures reported by Al Jazeera, Reuters, and AP on 1 April 2026.

• If any or all of them provides a range, I will use both their lower bound and their upper bound within the median calculation. If all three publish a range, the result will be the median of 6 data points.

• Inasmuch as possible for both of those sources I will only include confirmed fatalities directly caused by the conflict count (e.g., missile strikes, bombings, military operations).

• Injuries, missing persons, unverified claims, or speculative estimates will not be counted. If any of those sources report different figures for “confirmed” or some homonym of that, and for some other category, only the “confirmed” deaths numbers will be used.

• I will use whatever figures are reported on 1 April 2026, I will not update for any subsequent reporting. If on 1 April 2026 the most recent figures are from, say, 25 March 2026, so be it.
