Resolution Criteria
This market resolves to YES if Studio Ghibli or one of its employees, current or former, files a lawsuit against OpenAI or one of its users, specifically alleging copyright infringement, such as for images used in training data or image generation, before the market close date.
Also resolves YES if Ghibification becomes no longer possible without jailbreaks, and with such jailbreaks being actively removed.
Otherwise, it resolves to NO.
@Conflux I feel like they are the same thing? OpenAI would only remove the feature if they are being sued or have strong evidence they are about to be?
@TonyGao I don’t think that’s true at all. Some people online are already saying they can’t ghiblify.
@Conflux consensus seems to be that's a glitch, not openai deciding to change direction and implementing a policy of anti ghiblification. But I'm open to suggestions to what the title should be instead
@TonyGao "Will Open AI be sued by Studio Ghibli or block Ghibification in 2025?"
