this was a weak year, i'd say. only added Lithuania to my playlist.

Luxembourg is not good, but "mother nature she knows" got stuck in my head.

Denmark and France was kinda nice, but not enough to add to playlist.

Final selection:

Portugal – Interesting up until 40 seconds or so, intriguing style, but then never really goes anywhere further with it, starts to seem like a hymn.

Romania – Turn up the volume, and it's ok, there's probably an algorithm somewhere people follow to make music like this, moderate success, just follow the flow chart.

San Marino – 🗑️

Serbia – Totally works after the slow parts, reminds me a bit of the band "muse", but unfortunately more generic than their most distinctive stuff, but I wonder if the lyrics would contribute a lot if I could understood them.

Sweden – 👎, but was willing to see the instrumentation through for a while, was disappointed.

Switzerland – No joke, there's an adventure time song that starts off a little like this, but this doesn't build or go anywhere, like so many starts off like it might be worth it, and then it isn't. More layers of sounds make any impact less, unless those layers commit to some complexity and individually stand out.

Got to the end.

Lithuania – Quite good, and you've sold me on the sci-fi TV series, let's see it.

Luxembourg – Nice in all the ways "connected" from "Tetris effect" is, but I like "connected" more.

Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Poland – 👎

Cyprus – meh

Czechia – Trying to go somewhere, not sure it gets there for me.

Denmark – Dance zombies, but it's pop music, gave up before the end.

Estonia – 🤷‍♂️ come on peeps

Finland – Violin has potential, so do the base miscellaneous sounds, but it's all too simple.

France – Reminds me of Les Misérables, but again kind of pop music saturated.

Georgia – You get 1 out of 5 stars, here it is ⭐️.

Germany – Hot singers wearing as little as permitted isn't a silver bullet for great listening, doesn't work.

Greece – yes, you're a cat, I see

Israel – didn't listen to it

Italy, Latvia – 🤷‍♂️

Albania – I like this type of music, but this one, it's just ok. Give me Sigur Rós, or lean in a power metal direction any day.

UK – Meh, kind of "brit pop", but good performance/props, gets kind of good later on, then tends towards bland and generic again.

Armenia – 10 out of 10 for lighting and fire

Australia – nice sun

Austria – "It's coz I'm like Ramstien"

Azerbaijan – ok

Belgium – 0:56 to 1:11 could totally be really powerful, that bit's quite good, push way harder!

Bulgaria – no

Croatia – Hell yeah 1:00 to 1:50 nice, so is all of it, get her flying up on a ceiling wire.
