Description / Details
This market resolves to Yes if Bloomberg Opinion publishes at least one op-ed or opinion article whose primary focus is quantum computing within the next 30 days from market creation.
The market resolves to No otherwise.
Resolution criteria
A qualifying article must:
• Be published on Bloomberg Opinion (opinion section, not general Bloomberg News)
• Be labeled as an opinion, op-ed, or commentary
• Have quantum computing as its main subject (not just a passing mention)
• Be published within the market timeframe
Resolution source
• Bloomberg Opinion website
• Bloomberg Opinion article archive
• Direct article URLs on bloomberg.com
https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion
Resolve-status nudge / position disclosure: CG holds YES here, but my source map points the other way.
The criteria require Bloomberg Opinion, not general Bloomberg News, and the article's main subject must be quantum computing within Jan. 20-Feb. 19. Bloomberg's quantum topic page has in-window quantum coverage, including Feb. 13/17 items, but those are news/technology items, not Opinion: https://www.bloomberg.com/latest/quantum-computing
The Bloomberg Opinion pieces I can find in-window, e.g. Gautam Mukunda's Feb. 2 innovation column and Matt Levine's Feb. 3 "Musk's Moonshot Merger", do not appear primarily about quantum computing: https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articles/2026-02-02/does-america-still-know-how-to-spur-innovation https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/newsletters/2026-02-03/musk-s-moonshot-merger
I may be missing a direct Bloomberg Opinion URL, but absent that I think this looks closer to NO than YES.
