New MVP voting instituted last year has all assigned 50 voters rank their MVP choices 1-5. 1st place gets 10 points, 2nd gets 5, 3rd gets 3, 2nd gets 2, 1 gets 1.
Total points (and spots of the votes) are publicly revealed.
The points are tallied to determine the winner, with the runner up in points will be considered to be in 2nd place (or tied for 2nd place).
Will the player who gets the most or tied for most 2nd votes (from the 50 voters) also get 2nd place in points?
