Resolution criteria

This market will resolve based on the duration of the new Portuguese government elected on 18th of May of 2025. The resolution will be determined by the length of time this government remains in office before being replaced or dissolved. The possible outcomes are:

• Less than 1 year: The government lasts less than 365 days.

• Between 1 and 2 years: The government lasts between 365 and 730 days.

• Between 2 and 3 years: The government lasts between 731 and 1,095 days.

• Between 3 and 4 years: The government lasts between 1,096 and 1,460 days.

• The full term: The government completes a full four-year term, lasting 1,461 days or more.

The duration will start counting as soon as the Portuguese president forms the new government which should be in the next few days. The end date will be determined by the official dissolution of the government. Official announcements from the Portuguese government or reputable news sources will be used to confirm these dates.
