Jeremy Hunt delivered the 2024 budget to Parliament earlier today. The headline change was a 2p reduction in National Insurance and there were various other smaller measures which you can see here - /SimonGrayson/uk-budget-2024-what-will-be-announc

It had previously been assumed that this would be the last budget/mini-budget/fiscal statement/fiscal event before the next general election. But since this slightly uninspired budget there has been speculation from journalists like Faisal Islam that there will be one more mini-budget or Autumn Statement including some treats and giveaways before the next general election.

This would be based on a last minute fiscal statement and an autumn general election (see /SimonGrayson/uk-general-election-which-month-in).

Will the Chancellor of the Exchequer deliver another fiscal statement of any kind to Parliament before the next general election? This market will resolve YES if they do and NO if Parliament is dissolved for the general election before that happens.
