Will there be free and fair elections for the Israeli Knesset in 2026?
Update 2025-09-24 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): - If elections are held in 2025, this will resolve to NO.
"Free and fair" means elections conducted similarly to previous Israeli elections.

To clarify the market —
If there are elections in 2025, of course the market will be declared a NO.
But no elections are planned for 2025, and at present elections are scheduled for 2026.
The definition of ‘free and fair’ means that the elections will be conducted similarly to previous elections in Israel.
@SefiKronenberg How can there be elections in 2025? Doesn't it take 90 days to have them after dissolving the Knesset? And can't it not be dissolved until after the recess ends?
Are you guys dumb?
The only way there's no election in 2026 is if theres one in 2025 and that aint happening at this point
Unless the plan is to claim that it's not "free and fair" bc Palestinians in the west bank cant vote
So i guess I'll ask to clarify, we're the previous israeli elections free and fair?
@yaakovgrunsfeld I think there's more than a 10% chance of elections this year.
I guess we'll see how things go once folk are back from recess and the clock runs out on the previous move to dissolve the government.
(I'll be disappointed if this market is a 'gotcha' to try to push a silly narrative)
@PaulBenjaminPhotographer yeah when i bought it was at 50% so i thought they were gonna say like it's not free and fair bc the Palestinians can't vote
