Revenue is combined, with the 50% split the creator should get at least $50k. Revenue is for a single song.
Hopefully Grimes will mention at least broadly how much money she shares if this ends up happening. If it's clear that a song should have passed this benchmark and we don't have any information on how much revenue it created one month later, I will resolve the market N/A.
FTR I don't think we get direct revenue numbers for most sings, period. Artists dont tweet that sort of thing much at all, afaik.
We can look at number of Spotify streams, for instance, and guess the average RPM for plays. But as-written, that would resolve the market as N/A even if the number-of-plays was clearly enough to get to $100k. This question should be clarified in description.
@NicholasKross Not gonna guess, Spotify plays would trigger the "clear that a song should have passed this benchmark" clause, but they're not enough for resolution. Since as far as I am aware nothing like this has happened before, I'm willing to bet that a revenue sharing agreement like this is newsworthy enough to---
Actually, hold on.
