Revenue is combined, with the 50% split the creator should get at least $5k. Revenue is for a single song.

Hopefully Grimes will mention at least broadly how much money she shares if this ends up happening. If it's clear that a song should have passed this benchmark and we don't have any information on how much revenue it created one month later, I will resolve the market N/A.

Does this count as revenue https://app.uberduck.ai/grimes/details
First place creator gets 7k, so if song streams generate additional 3k thats 10k in total.

@light I'm tempted to count this, I'm not sure if it fits a very narrow definition of revenue being generated by the song though. Unless someone comes up with an excellent reason why it shouldn't count, I'm willing to say that it does.

predicts YES

@Sailfish Yeah, it's tricky. I'm sure it will generate more than that for someone upstream, unless they like burning money. Would be easier if we could incorporate views somehow, like if it gets 5+ mil views across different platforms it counts as 10k or something.

@light I think the financial aspect is the most interesting part though, as far as I am aware nothing is preventing me from making a song using an AI model trained on a popular singer's voice and uploading it to youtube. It's just that I would not, as far as I am aware, have the rights to that song and receive any of the profits. I'm more interested in whether or not the business model will stand up to reality, than if it's possible to create a popular song using AI vocals.

Although, by all means make a market that uses views as resolution criteria, feel free to link it here if you do. I'd actually be curious to see how they compared.
