Resolves YES if:

  • a video of Donald Trump groping a teenager is published, and I personally judge the video to be real, OR:

  • at least two of ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, NBC News, the New York Times, USA Today, the Washington Post, Politico, and NPR report on allegations of Donald Trump groping a teenager, and I personally judge that the tone of the articles is at least as confident as "neutral on whether it happened or not".

Resolves NO if this does not happen by market close.

A Google search says that camcorders were released in 1983, which would make the Don about 37 years old then. That's where the absolute floor is, as I see it.

he definitely did, but i don’t think a video of it’s dropping in the next two weeks

@mattyb the contraction of "it is" to "it's" when "it" isn't the subject of the sentence should be avoided due to its awkward sound. The subject is "video" in your sentence, as such, it should read "a video of it is dropping". In fact, when using a contraction in this excerpt, if said out loud, most would interpret the sound of "it's" to be "its", the possessive, and assume the speaker is speaking about a video where an aforementioned object is dropped

@PeterNjeim Do you think people should be reprimanded for using "less", instead of "fewer", in reference to a countable noun?

Weird af word policing. I would say this aloud exactly how I wrote this. In my Philly accent, it sounds more like “itz” and is fine.

Words are meant to communicate those little funny thoughts in my brain into your brain. If I can do that without losing meaning, my words were successful regardless of how you think rules should apply. Fuck your norms, my English was perfectly effective.

If I can do that without losing meaning

@mattyb To be honest, it required a few more brain cycles to parse than it would have if you hadn't used the contraction.

@skibidist spend more time with philly people then. the english from the people that raised me loves contractions.

i love to use a double one: shouldn’t’ve is a classic. gotta get those words out quickly so we can make more time for sandwich eating and pole climbing
