Nixon and Reagan each won their reelections in landslides, in 1972 and 1984 respectively, carrying every state except for one (and D.C.). Will any presidential candidate do the same in the 21st century? (i.e., Will any candidate win all but one state?)
Caveats:
Like Nixon and Reagan, they don't have to win D.C. (unless it becomes a state) or any Congressional districts - this is just about how many states they win.
The winner of a state will be determined by whoever got the most votes in the state (or whoever won by an electoral method like IRV if it's used in the state), not by who the state's Electoral College votes go to. So the enactment of the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact wouldn't affect this market.
If more states are added, the winner still needs to win all but one (not just 49 states).
2100 is part of the 22nd century.
