Seasonally adjusted weekly jobless claims have been unusually low, below 300,000, for well over a year. Will jobless claims end this steak and go above 300,000 in 2023 or 2024? This question resolves to YES if the four week moving average meets or exceeds 300,000 in any Unemployment Insurance Weekly Claims report reflecting data after October 7, 2023 and before January, 2025.
