Resolving simply means determining whether the event in question happened or didn't. It looks like you intended to ask whether an invasion would happen within 3 months of question creation, aka by Jan 9th. Is that correct?

I think you accidentally set the close date, which is mostly the same as when you expect to be able to resolve the question, to a week after question creation; this doesn't make sense because you don't expect to know the answer by then.

I've edited the close date accordingly; feel free to ask if there are any other questions. If you'd rather not deal with it further the mod team can handle this, you do not need to feel obligated to do so.

@MichaelH1eb3 What is the decisive date for resolution? The closing date of the question is 1 month after its creation, yet you ask about +3 months.
