"well, that didn't work" does not count as regret. Feeling a bit crap the next day does not count as regret. This market is looking for addiction, dependence, becoming lastingly worse off because of the trial.

I wound up doing a very short trial of nicotine gum, because it tasted really bad/left an awful taste in my mouth. I guess using it longer might have caused addiction/dependence.

I use it and I feel slightly addicted to it. Like I have a strong urge to use it, and I feel like I can't 100% relax without it. Its a very weak addiction though. I would say I'm more addicted to social media like discord/twitter than I am to nicotine. I've taken 1 month + breaks before, and its not really an issue. I've also, for a long time don't this meme where I buy the smallest package, then when its done I take a n days break, then buy another one, and when thats done take an n+1 day break. I'm up to 20 days. I'm only doing this because nicotine on low tolerance is so nice. I don't notice any negative effects or see any reason to stop using it. I don't get withdrawal either.

It gave me the only manic episode of my life at the absolute worst time to have one (aka when a #IRLDreamCameTrue and I wrecked it by TURNING IT INTO A WAKING DREAM

I've done it for a year and don't feel any dependency

I tried it without becoming addicted/dependent.

Does a persistent desire to chew gum after quitting count as regret?

Also, how long have you already been using it?

If it persists more than -- I'm going to arbitrarily say a week, then yes.

I tried a piece a couple hours ago, it was my first time deliberately ingesting nicotine.

I don't expect to make a profit off this trade, but my guess is despite how it might seem in the short-term, in the long run regular use can cause lots of fatigue.

"It leaves a really weird and unpleasant taste in my mouth" also does not count as regret, or this market would be resolving quickly.
